Delivery Policy
1. General Information
At ShopInAccra.com, we are committed to delivering your order as quickly and safely as possible.
All orders are subject to product availability. If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed your order, we will notify you promptly. You may choose to:
- Wait until the item becomes available;
- Replace it with a similar product (where applicable); or
- Receive a full refund using your original payment method.
2. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to the locations available during checkout.
Orders for non-perishable items may also be accepted for locations outside our standard delivery areas, subject to confirmation and additional delivery charges where applicable.
At this time, perishable items can only be delivered within our designated delivery zones to ensure freshness and product quality.
If you are unsure whether we deliver to your location, please contact us before placing your order.
3. Order Processing & Delivery Times
Orders are processed once payment has been successfully confirmed.
Our standard delivery target is within 24 hours for orders placed on business days, although delivery times may vary depending on:
- Your delivery location
- Product availability
- Weather conditions
- Traffic conditions
- Courier availability
- Public holidays or other unforeseen circumstances
Business days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.
We do not process or deliver orders on Sundays, unless otherwise stated.
Estimated delivery times provided during checkout are intended as guides only and should not be considered guaranteed delivery times.
Where an order contains multiple items, they may arrive in separate deliveries if necessary.
4. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated based on:
- Delivery location
- Size and weight of your order
- Delivery method selected
Your delivery fee will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Remote or difficult-to-access locations
- Oversized or unusually heavy items
- Special delivery requests
Any additional charges will be communicated before your order is dispatched.
5. Receiving Your Order
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If the packaging appears damaged or if any items are missing or incorrect, please notify the delivery personnel where possible and contact our customer support within 24 hours of receiving your order.
We may request photographs of the package and damaged items to assist with our investigation.
6. Failed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed because:
- The delivery address is incorrect or incomplete;
- The recipient is unavailable;
- The recipient cannot be contacted; or
- Delivery is refused without valid reason,
we may attempt another delivery. Additional delivery charges may apply for subsequent delivery attempts.
If an order remains undeliverable, it may be cancelled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
7. Delays Beyond Our Control
While we strive to deliver every order on time, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather
- Road closures
- Public emergencies
- Industrial action
- Government restrictions
- Courier service disruptions
Where delays occur, we will keep you informed and make every reasonable effort to complete delivery as soon as possible.
